Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the possibilities of sustainability of the historical core of Banská Štiavnica. The work restores, revitalizes and complements local structu-res at the site of the archaeological site of the former Dominican Monastery. The aim of the thesis is to propose an urban approach and an architectural object that would help to revive and stabilize the city center, promote identity, strengthen com-munity relations and create them.
