Abstract
The aim of this diploma thesis is to clarify and explain behaviour of lighting system (watch lighting) in cooperation with camera systems, specifically to show the advantages and disadvantages of the already designed systems in substations of the ČEPS Company.
In my thesis I have focused on evaluation of lighting values (horizontal, vertical and camera), brightness and contrasts of monitored objects under watch lighting designed in the TR N, TR K and TR C substations.
In the theoretical part the normative requirements concerning the watch lighting according to the harmonized standard as well as the technical standard of the ČEPS Company have been stated. Next the individual camera parameters have been analysed and lighting and brightness behaviour analysis of the lighting system in the section between two lights has been stated. In conclusion of the theoretical part I have made the theoretical model where the influence of the reflected constituent for the various types of surfaces can be seen.
The main result of the diploma thesis is its practical part in which the basic terms associated with the camera systems and watch lighting are defined. Next the acceptability of the already designed lighting systems in substations is evaluated and the distance of cameras in decreased dispersive conditions supported by the real outputs from the physical protection technical system (TSFO) in the ČEPS Company substations is defined.
