Konkurenceschopnost podniku v oblasti výroby čerpadel a kompresorů

Abstract

The competitiveness is very often used term nowadays. It is one of the major factor for setting successful or unsuccessful company. It is very common term at the market of companies because of the every one company would like to be better than the other ones and this is the reason of competitive race between them. The aim of my Bachelor Thesis was to evaluate competitiveness of Sigma Group a.s., which is industrial company focused on production of pumping technology. Company is also finding competitive advantages against other companies at market. There was used PESTE analysis focused on outside surroundings of company, it is macro environment which can not be influenced by company. There was used Porter`s five forces analysis also where were used internal documents of company. Compilation of SWOT analysis was done by cooperation with one of the company employees. Finally there were used two models – bankruptcy model and creditworthy model. That information was taken from company financial statements.After the application of the above mentioned analyses were suggested proposals and recommendations which should serve to improve the competitiveness of the company
