Abstract

The subject of the thesis is a critical assessment of the results of economic evaluation of the use of the furnace camera system, proposal of measures to get more accurate current economic evaluation of the use of the furnace camera system and following evaluation of the measures. In the theoretical part is introduction of the company Liberty Ostrava a.s., theoretical definition of costs and methods for evaluation of the investment efficiency. Static and dynamic methods are used for practical evaluation of the investment efficiency. These include return on investment, net present value, internal rate of return and more. The thesis also contains an evaluation of the investment in comparison with the current state of steel casting with the already established camera system, which was implemented in 2019 by Liberty Ostrava a.s.
