Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with the problem of the search for missing persons. It dwells on the open air search operations management, possibilities of the officer in charge concerning deployment of manpower and other means in the investigation. It describes particular units of the intergrated emergency system and their efficiency in the search operations, as well as resources available for the investigation, such as skirmishers, search dogs, helicopters etc. It also defines the principles of managing search operations in conditions of the Czech republic.
