Abstract
These thesis is devoted to the problematic of gravity separation of minerals and waste by pneumatic separation method, with using the air concentrating table Triple/S Dynamics. In the text of this thesis are given the theoretical foundations of the pneumatic separation process, utilizing in particular the regularity of particle motion in the material environment (in the fluid or in the gas) and fluidization of granular materials. The possibilities of using the pneumatic separation in various areas of raw material and waste management are also given here.
The experimental part of this thesis is focused on the monitoring of the variable parameters of the pneumatic separator and its influence on the processing of raw materials. For this purpose a artificially prepared mixture of quartz and magnesite grains is used in the grain size 1-5 mm.
