Turistický potenciál vybraných lokalit po těžbě nerostných surovin (Těšínské Slezsko)

Abstract

This bachelor thesis focuses on mining of mineral resources that has influenced the biodiversity of Těšín Silesia region. The elaborated theme deals with coexistence between living and non-living nature in the place of the former quarries, gravel pits, mines, wells and other mining remains. This thesis is divided into four parts. The first part deals with current trends and approaches in tourism and the most attractive forms of tourism in the area of Těšín. Another part of the thesis deals with mining of minerals in Těšín Silesia region. The following chapter describes particular geological locations and their assessment from the view of tourism. In the final part there are specific proposals for tourism support in selected geological locations. The aim of this thesis is to point out the locals and enthusiastic tourists of places that were used for mining of mineral resources and to evaluate their potential from the view of tourism.
