Abstract

Health and safety at work can be defined as the sum of the measures provided for by legislation and employer which aim to prevent danger or harm to human health in the process. The thesis is focused on the safety management system operation, which is an integral part of the operation of the plant. The thesis describes potential security risks and their prevention, arising from legal and other regulations to ensure safety and health at work of the employer and of measures that aim to prevent risks , eliminate or minimize exposure is unavoidable risks. Includes also the analysis of particular fatal accident at work, it was concluded that such cases occur , even if without the employee of the offense
