Vliv přídavku biopaliva na meze výbušnosti motorové nafty

Abstract

The aim of this diploma thesis is to determine the effect of biofuel additives on the concentration limits of diesel fuel explosiveness. The theoretical part describes the production of diesel fuel and the properties of biodiesel with a focus on FAME and HVO. Further attention is given to basic concepts in the field of combustion, explosion, and the measurement of explosive mixtures. The practical part of the thesis focuses on experimental measurements of the lower and upper explosion limits of mixtures of diesel fuel and rapeseed methyl ester using the VK20 explosion chamber. The materials, equipment, working procedures, and individual experiments are described. The measurement results are processed into tables and graphs and evaluated in the final part of the thesis.
