Zhodnocení nabídky vybraných druhů pobytových zařízení sociálních služeb pro seniory ve Zlínském kraji a kraji Vysočina

Abstract

This bachelor's thesis consists of evaluation of the supply of the retirement homes and homes with special regime on the territories of the Zlín region and Vysočina region. The goal of this thesis is to evaluate the total amount and dislocation of these houses, capacity they offer and comparison this supply between selected regions. Evaluation of the results was done based on the analysis, description, deduction or comparison. What was found out was that Zlín region reacts noticably better on the needs of its citizens who are older than 65 years. It provides higher amount of these facilities and their capacities which are offered to seniors. This results in higher chance seniors to be placed in them. Nontheless, the major discovery was that neither of the regions provide enough beds considering the amount of citizens who are 65 or older. To improve this situation the regions should attempt to receive enough financial resources to build new facilities.
