Vizualizace dopravních dat

Abstract

The master thesis is focused on visualization of traffic data and analysis of problematic road sections of Moravian-Silesian Region, especially those road sections where the traffic events frequently or even regularly, affect the smooth flow of traffic. In the master thesis I processed traffic data from June of 2016 to February of 2017. Traffic data were taken from Uniform System of Traffic Information through Distributed Data Interface. Traffic data are mapped to roads network in geodatabase StreetNet LITE of Moravian-Silesian Region. Basic terms related to the issue of traffic data, from collection of data to its interpretation and visualization, are explained in the thesis. For processing and visualizing of traffic data, software PostgreSQL, Quantum GIS and MS Excel are used. The resulting animated map is created on a graphical interface of supercomputer Salomon
