Abstract

In this bachelor work is discussed about tar deposits produced during coke making processes, and their possible use.

In the first part is illustrated technology carbonization to form coke and carbon gas and the cooling, which yields the tar and coke oven gas.

The following section describes the methods for processing tar deposits on the carbon sorbent and shaped carbon products, their realization and characterization of the products obtained.

The final section presents the results of measurements of the surface of the sorbent made from tar deposits, results processing options for shaped carbon products and their use in practice.
