This bachelor’s thesis focuses on one specific part of the Nová Karolina City Hall building complex. The Nová Karolina City Hall complex is divided into three main building parts connected by a communication corridor. These are: The City Hall building, The Multifunctional hall and The Library building – the particular building that I focus on in my bachelor’s thesis „Nová Karolina Library“.

In this bachelor's thesis, I am processing partial documentation for the construction of one specific part of the Nová Karolina City Hall complex – the Library building in the centre of Ostrava, according to Decree No. 499/2009 Coll. on construction documentation. The basis for the elaboration of the constructing documentation was the architectural study elaborated in the Atelier work III and IV subjects. Both supervised by Ing. arch. Igor Krčmář. The building consists of 6 floors. Six above-ground and one underground floor, which serves as an underground garage. In this bachelor's thesis, the architectural study has been completed into the documentation for the construction according to the assignment of the bachelor's thesis. The specialization – architectural detail is attached to a drawing documentation.
