Hodnocení bonity statutárního města Ostravy

Abstract

This thesis deals with problems of assessing creditworthiness of municipalities. The first part describes methods for assessing creditworthiness of municipalities such as financial method, assets balance method, US RESEARCH method and rating tool FASCOR that is used in Česká spořitelna for determining municipalities rating. Second part is dedicated to application of these methods in order to assessing creditworthiness of City of Ostrava in period 2012 - 2014. The effort of this thesis is to answer the question whether different methods for assessing creditworthiness, despite the individuality of methodology of credit rating agencies and banks, leads to equal rating assessment.
