Abstract
Master thesis deals with electrical substations in general and their division. Then I deal with indoor convetional (none-enclosed) MV switchgear in the HARD heavy laboratory of the Department of Electrical Power Engineering at the VSB-TUO. As the title suggests, one part of the thesis is the creation of a laboratory task on this MV switchgear. The task is aimed at familiarizing with the instrumentation, manipulations and work with the MV switchgear, but also at measuring the basic protection functions of the REF620 digital protection that this substation is equipped with. In addition, the thesis deals with the design of an option for moving the MV svitchgear to the new building of the CEET (Centre for Energy and Environmental Technologies). In the design, I am mainly concerned with the simplification of the construction and the MV switchgear layout arrangement of the elements, as well as a simple calculation of the financial requirements of this relocation.
