Abstract

This thesis aims to evaluate and determine the requirements for safety equipment for machining of high-pressure water jet. The theoretical part is generally described water jet cutting technology, the history of the development of non-conventional machining methods, their comparison and determines the advantages and disadvantages of their use. The following describes the operation of two selected companies for which there is designed the work local operational safety regulations for workplace of high pressure water jet. In the practical part, there is also risk identification, which is widened by the FMEA analysis.
