Abstract

The work aims to analyze the causes of scrap in a manufacturing company and to propose measures to reduce non-conforming production. The bachelor thesis is divided into two parts. The first part deals theoretically with the issue of quality process management with a focus on the analysis of the causes of scrap. In the second part, the analysis of scrap in the company and the quality management process is performed using the methods of Pareto diagram, cause and effect diagram, questioning, and observation. As a result of the work, measures are proposed to reduce non-conforming production and adjustments to the quality management process, which are then evaluated.
