Lucie Augustinková, Ph.D. The subject of the thesis is the revitalization of the western part of the farmyard at the chateau in Stěbořice, whose northern and western buildings are still standing, while the southern and eastern buildings have been demolished. The existing buildings of the farmyard have been surveyed and assessed in terms of possible adaptation for the purpose desired by the municipality - i.e. the design of small flats accompanied by some services, together with an urban design for the new use of the area in question and a partial study of the new use of the proposed buildings. The proposal for the new use of the farmyard has been developed taking into account the rationality, feasibility and realism of the proposal, all within the limits and legislative constraints that have emerged in the course of the work and maintaining the basic urban design principles with an emphasis on urban composition.
