Dalibor Balner, Ph.D. The thesis aims to determine the time for extinguishing selected types of plastic materials when changing the parameters of water mist. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with summary information about water mist, polymers and last part is devoted to the specification of the used plastic materials. The practical part describes the preparation of the experiment, the determined measurement procedure and finally the experiment itself, which determines the extinguishing time of the used plastic materials and the evaluation of these data.
