Srovnání legislativního účinku zbrojních průkazů v ČR a v mezinárodním kontextu

Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with a comprehensive analysis and comparison of the legislative effects of gun licences in the Czech Republic and in the international context. The thesis describes the current legal regulation of obtaining firearms licenses in the Czech Republic, including the conditions for their issuance, and traces the historical development of the regulation of the possession of weapons from 1989 to the present. It also includes a comparison of the Czech system with selected countries such as Slovakia, Switzerland and Italy, which present different approaches to the regulation of weapons. The practical part analyses significant cases of attacks with firearms on the territory of the Czech Republic, assesses the motivations of the perpetrators and the impact of these events on security policy. Based on the findings, the thesis proposes preventive measures and recommendations for improving the policy of issuing firearms licenses in the Czech Republic, including stricter controls, increased security standards and more effective legislation.
