Křižovatka silnice I/35 – Nádražní – 5. května ve městě Rožnov pod Radhoštěm

Abstract

The topic of this Bachelor thesis is to assess the existing condition of the light controlled intersection Meziricska – Nadrazni – nabrezi Dukelskych hrdinu – 5. kvetna in Roznov pod Radhostem and on the bases of this findings I have to make a suggestion of new condition. From realized traffic research I made the calculation of the traffic intensity, the composition of traffic flows, the calculation of capacity and I made a suggestion of traffic accident rates and conflict situations. Based on these obtained datas I made two new variants of this intersection, according to current regulations. These variants are supported by capacity calculations. The plan documentation contains drawings of existing condition and new conditions and I veryfied the traffic flow in the AutoTURN programme. At the end I made a visualization of new proposed conditions in the PTV Vissim programme.
