Rozvojová koncepce regionu Poodří

Abstract

The theme for the process of this thesis is a development concept Poodří Region. This thesis I was divided into two parts, on the theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part which is divided into two chapters, I focused on regional development, regional policy, strategic management and territorial planning, and I mentioned also the issue of sustainable development which must be take into account when developing strategies and future development. The practical part includes three chapters. In this section I focused on describing Poodří Region and created a socio-economic analysis, which in turn contributed to a SWOT analysis and identification of strengths and weaknesses and potential opportunities and threats. Finally, I marked out the vision, objectives and priorities and put the measures and activities, which should fulfill the vision. At the end, I tried to evaluate.
