Abstract

Abstract The diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of work motivation and job satisfaction of employees in a selected company. The thesis is divided into theoretical and methodological part. The theoretical part defines the basic concepts related to work motivation, selected theories of work motivation and explains the concept of job satisfaction. Furthermore, the research methodology used in the work is explained. The methodological part briefly describes the company and then the current situation in the field of work motivation and job satisfaction is delineated. Afterward, a questionnaire survey is analysed and evaluated. In the final part, the results are evaluated and interpreted proposals for changes.
