Abstract
The diploma thesis deals with the treatment of separated sludge generated during the deemulsification process in a hazardous waste treatment plant. The main objective of the thesis, with regard to the existing situation, was to design a treatment of these sludges with minimum costs so that they could be treated not as liquid hazardous waste but as solid hazardous waste within the sludge management and at the same time their volume could be significantly reduced. As part of the solution to this problem, changes in the existing sludge management of the company were proposed, which are currently already incorporated into the technology of processing industrial wastewater and liquid waste in the company GUTRA s.r.o., which is operated in Klášterec nad Ohří. The proposed change has thus led to a significant reduction in the volume of liquid sludge coming from the de-emulsification treatment plant for industrial wastewater and liquid waste and, last but not least, to savings which cannot be neglected and which are related to their subsequent disposal.
