Muzeum dobývání nafty na Jižní Moravě

Abstract

The topic of my dissertation is about the Museum of Oil Extracting in Southern Moravia.

The main purpose is to give information about the Museum of Oil mining and geology. The main parts of the dissertation are: The Museum‘s history and its establishment; disposition of museum‘ s parts and the content of internal and external expositions; sources of collection and information that contributed to create the expositions.

The theoretical part deals with tourism and museums. It also describes the region of South Moravia, the Hodonin region and the town of Hodonin where the museum is situated.

The practical part deals with analysis of the main parts (stated above) and besides that the comparison of the Museum of oil mining and geology to other museums in the Hodonin region. It also includes a section which analyzes economic data and also includes SWOT analysis.
