Abstract

Thesis Annotation

In my thesis, I tried to focus on the Global warming issue from a few points of view. In the first part of my thesis, I deal with the the conception of the Global warming as far as its origin and principles are concerned, as well as its impact on the Earth climate.

In the sencond part of my thesis, I am engaged in the causes of the Global warming themselves. These are both anthropogenic and natural and then I deal with the divergent opinions of experts.

Then, I focus on possible impact of the Global warming - as for the whole ecosystems and as far as the human life is concerned, too. I also consider the impact of the Global warming for particular continents, especially for the Czech Republic, Europe.

In addition to this,I mention possible precautions, which could prevent or at least reduce the Global warming´s effects. The chapter devoted to these precautions is closed with a questionnaire, by means of which I tried to find out about the public awareness of this topic.
