Turistický potenciál města Zlín

Abstract

The main topic of my bachelor thesis is the tourist potential of the town Zlín. I drew it up under the supervision of prof. RNDr. Arnošt Wahla, PhD. My goal was to characterize and evaluate the tourist potential of the city Zlín. Furthermore, I also evaluated a major city attractions and the highlight of his greatest strengths. The theoretical part describes basic procedures for assessing the potential of tourism and its methodology for rating. Then directly mention what attractions can be classified into those categories. The next section describes the history and the present city of Zlin. I describe the basic features of the town of Zlín, which contribute to its development. Also I am presenting the local attractive of cultural-historical type, cultural and sporting events and facilities under the material-technical base of the city. As a further describe the promotional activities of the city, especially the action (regional, national and foreign), which the City participates in order to attract potential visitors. I mention some recommendations that could improve the awareness of the city of Zlin. This works for me was a great benefit, because I found many interesting things, not just at first glance to see for citizen. I became acquainted with the situation more closely related to just the tourism sector. And it is for me, as residents of the city Zlin and student of the economics of tourism valuable, because even though I live here my whole life, so I notice these things.
