Rozvojová pomoc EU plynoucí do nejchudších zemí Asie

Abstract

The thesis is thematically focused on development aid from the European Union, which flows into the three poorest countries in Asia, namely Afghanistan, Nepal and Yemen. The aim is to evaluate the effectiveness of development aid by the help of selected indicators. The first chapter is devoted to theoretical knowledge of development aid, EU Development Policy, its objectives, instruments and funding. In the next part Afghanistan, Nepal and Yemen are characterized from economic, political and demographic perspective, focusing on major problems of these regions. The last part deals with specific forms of aid and on the basis of World Bank data there is an evaluation of the effect the development aid has in selected countries and what are the disturbing elements that depreciate this aid.
