Abstract

The bachelor thesis is focused on the evaluation of the position of the company on the waste disposal market. In the first part of the bachelor thesis are theoretically defined methods used in the practical part of the thesis. The second part of the thesis is focused on the evaluation of the external and internal environment of the company. The external environment is analyzed by PEST analysis and competition analysis. The internal environment is evaluated using financial analysis and internal factors analysis. For the overall analysis of the external and internal environment, the SPACE summary technique is used. The final part of the thesis evaluates the results obtained from the practical application of these analyzes, and then presents suggestions and recommendations for improvement of the company's situation, which concern especially the competitive advantage and financial aspects.
