Abstract
This diploma thesis deals with validation of experimentally measured parameters of sprinkler heads using mathematical fire models. The first two chapters, which serve as a theoretical background, describe fire models, their types, modelling fire in enclosed spaces using CFD fire model, input parameters and enlists their characteristics. The third chapter describes experimental measuring at Dolní Vítkovice and summarizes obtained parameters. The following chapters are focused on validation and evaluation of results obtained by CFD fire models and assessment of influence of input parameters on outputs. Finally the results of CFD and zone fire models are compared. The conclusion summarizes achieved knowledge during usage of CFD fire models and processing the thesis.
