Využitelnost protipovodňových zábran při povodních

Abstract

The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to analyze, describe and compare the usability of mobile flood barriers that were deployed during floods in the Czech Republic in the years 1997–2024. The thesis includes a brief introduction to the issue of floods, its classification according to the causes of occurrence and division according to the degree of flood activity. The largest part of the thesis is devoted to individual mobile flood barriers, for which technical parameters, installation method, practical use during floods and also their cost are assessed. In addition, the thesis presents three foreign mobile flood barriers that have not yet been used in the Czech Republic, but with their innovative solutions represent the potential for expanding the offer on the Czech market. In the final part of the thesis, an evaluation of all mobile flood barriers is carried out based on previously established evaluation criteria.
