Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with the design and implementation of control and visualization applications for a manufacturing line produced by FESTO. The line is located at SPŠ a OA Bruntál. This school created a proposal to create applications representing manual modes. Their task is to create a clear and intuitive tool that will facilitate students work with the system and support the educational process. The theoretical part of the thesis extensively describes the function of the original line configuration. Individual application modules are described in detail, both in terms of construction and function. Additionally, an overview of all components comprising the resulting control and visualization system – MES, PLC, HMI – is provided. The practical part focuses on designing programs for PLC and applications utilizing HMI display for visualization. A control panel, which was manufactured during the project, is used for controlling manual work modes.
