Abstract

A subject of the bachelor work is safety in using of hand-held electric tools. The bachelor work includes an overview of safety requirements for hand-help electric tools given generally by laws and more specifically by electro technical standards. In term of tools lifetime are requirements for tools safety divided into two phases: manufacturing and usage. It is necessary to verify conformity of the tools with requirements given by laws and technical standards before launching at the EU market. In a part `Tools usage' are solved problems of controls and inspections, practical measurements performed at tools, inspection reports development and evaluation of tools safety for the most frequently used tools. A final part of the bachelor work is focused on a development of hand-held electrical tools and examples of modern tools.
