Abstract
The introductory part of the thesis is focused on getting acquainted with carbon-based nanomaterials. They are described here three types and kinds of these materials of the future. The next chapter deals with the preparation of graphene oxide and comparison of production methods, the most used being the Hummers method. The production of graphene oxide is followed by its reduction with the help of plant extracts. The final part is focused on the final analysis by FTIR methods TGA/DSC and Raman spectroscopy, which determine the quality prepared and reduced graphene oxide.
