Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with the adjustment processes of recruiting and selecting employees. For processing the mentioned subject is used cooperation with the company ABB-Operating center of Ostrava. The aim of this thesis is to analyze and modify the process of recruiting and selecting employees and to suggest potentional recommendations and suggestions for improvement of this process in mentioned company. The bachelor thesis consists of a theoretical part and a practical part. At the beginning of the theoretical part are characterized concepts such as managing and planning of human resources, and only after that we get to the chapters, which are focused on the recruitment and selection of employees. The practical part is processed from the provided internal materials of the company. The beginning of the practical part is devoted to the description of the company from the very inception to the present day, its organisational arrangements and structure of the staff. In the fourth chapter is described the actual process of recruiting and selecting staff, the methods that are used in the company, employees who carry out the process and procedures that must be followed. In this chapter it is also analysed the questionnaire survey that was conducted in the company. Based on the conducted questionnaire survey are suggested several proposals to improve the current process in mentioned company.
