Abstract

This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the design and analysis of a street surveillance system using 5G technology. The aim is to deploy two IP cameras within campus and public mobile networks, ensure their data transmission via 5G, and test key parameters such as network quality and characteristics, PTZ command response, multicast streaming, network behavior under load, and its impact on the quality of transmitted video. The thesis also evaluates the measured results and interprets them in the context of the suitability of 5G technology for use in security camera systems.
