The bachelor work is delt with factors that affect earnings granite quarries. The theoretical part of the issues discussed and the characteristics of the activity profitable and unprofita-ble mines. Furthermore, there are reasons of profitability and loss of individual mines. The practical part of the calculations set out proposals for measures to improve the results of quarries. The conclusion includes a summary of the issues of mining and quarry affect the economy.
