Využitelnost speciálních prostředků pro vodní záchranu v rámci HZS Moravskoslezského kraje

Abstract

This bachelor’s thesis explores ways to make better use of specialized water rescue equipment in the Moravian-Silesian Region. The main topic is a proposal for the seasonal loan of selected equipment owned by the Moravian-Silesian Region Fire and Rescue Service—specifically, personal watercraft, Gibbs Quadski XL amphibious vehicles, and selected rigid-hulled boats—for use by the Moravian-Silesian Region branch of the Czech Red Cross Water Rescue Service during the summer season. Based on an analysis of dispatch statistics, this study documents the current utilization of this technology and proposes its more effective deployment directly on bodies of water in areas with the highest concentration of people. The output of this study includes criteria for selecting suitable locations and a proposal for a legislative framework that would enable this form of cooperation between the two agencies. The proposed solution aims to significantly reduce response times during the summer months and to more effectively protect human life and health within the Moravian-Silesian Region.
