Řešení parkování v lokalitě u Těšínského divadla v Českém Těšíně

Abstract

The content of this thesis is the design suggestion of the parking space located in Český Těšín right by the Těšín Theater. The area of interest is set where the Ostravská Street in the North come together with the Divadelní Street in the East, Komenského Street in the South, and the boundaries of the nearby commercial properties in the West. The goal of the thesis is to check the current state of the parking spaces and suggest an according number of parking lots in the area. There are 3 solutions designed. They would increase the current number of parking lots for private as well as light commercial vehicles. The suggested variants should improve the current state of the parking spaces, especially get rid of the orderless parking of vehicles and provide a sufficient number of parking lots during cultural events. A selected variant is eventually developed as a form of a technical study. This work does not include any parking lots for tour buses, because the buses are parked within the area of the theater. While dealing with the design of the variants, any limitations resulting from the current placement of the engineering network in the area are not dealt with.
