Abstract

The thesis deals with the control design and the monitoring of an island charging system for electric bicycles. It also consists of a research of the available technologies for both the island system and its monitoring system. As a part of the thesis, the components without any other possible usage are also included. These components will be supplemented with the necessary components for the operation of the island system. The thesis also discusses the design and operation of an island system for charging electric bicycles. It contains a description of of the implemented components and data transmission as well as a description of the visualisation of the data obtained from the system.
