Abstract
The aim of the thesis is to design the blasting works for the Čebrat road tunnel and assess the impact of the blasting works on the surrounding environment.
The research part describes the theory of explosion, deals with the harmful effects of blasting technology, individual means used in blasting work, non-explosive expansion blasting work, the work progress when driving linear earthworks and dimensioning of the charge.
The practical part consists of the design of the blasting works for the Čebrat road tunnel and the assessment of the effects of the blasting works on the surrounding area by means of seismic monitoring. The design of the blasting works is developed for the conventional explosive Perunit E and for the alternative technology of blasting with expansive charges AutoStem III. The conclusion consists of an assessment of the effects of blasting works by seismic monitoring and its evaluation.
