Abstract
The theme of this bachelor thesis is an Economic Assessment of a Specific Company, which is the VÍTKOVICE HEAVY MACHINERY, plc. The aim of this work is to evaluate the financial situation in the years 2009 - 2013. The work is structured into several chapters. The first part of work includes basic information about the company, its characteristics and history. Another theoretical part explains and describes the basic concepts and indicators of financial analysis. The practical part includes financial analysis of company. The conclusion is devoted to a summary of the results of the practical parts and based on these results further recommendations.
