Využití bezpilotních letadel při inspekci a monitoringu budov

Abstract

The bachelor’s thesis deals with the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) in the inspection and monitoring of buildings. The theoretical part summarizes the basics of UAV systems, applicable legislation, usage, and photogrammetry with the Structure from Motion (SfM) method. The practical part applies this knowledge in the mapping of the industrial object EBZ Hoffmann using a DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise drone. From the acquired image data, a detailed 3D model with photo texture, a digital elevation model (DEM), and an orthophoto map with a spatial resolution of 7 mm/px were created in the Agisoft Metashape software. From these created outputs, it is possible to perform an inspection of the building condition in the form of detecting corrosion, contamination, or other damage to the building and structure. At the same time, a visual and thermal diagnostics of 351 rooftop solar panels was carried out, which revealed very small local contamination in approximately 40% of them and 10 temperature anomalies (including 6 hotspots), mostly directly related to local contamination. The results demonstrate high efficiency and safety of drones in preventive maintenance and building management.
