Abstract

The thesis deals with a design of a part of a new family house construction designed for living as well as creating the family house heating system. Due to the absence of the gas hook-up, the main source of heating in the family house will be a solid fuel boiler.

The important part of the heating design is the calculation of the heat loss in the building and the determination of heating requirements. Thanks to that, it is possible to design an appropriate boiler capacity, a heating distribution system, and a heating unit.

In winter, the heating of warm water will be done by the means of the solid fuel boiler. Apart from the main heating season, the water will be heated by electric energy with the use of low tariff in the night hours.
