In his diploma thesis, the author focuses on the braking attributes of emergency fire fighting vehicles, especially with a large expansion in fire brigade units in Czech Republic, but mainly focusing on two cars deployed at all HZS MSK stations except ÚO Ostrava, with only one representative and MAN vehicles belonging to JSDH Hlučín, which in similar variants is also often used in fire fighting units. Braking performance with full water tank at different speeds and different climatic conditions will be monitored. The results of the measurements will be available to fire fighting units for possible safety increase when driving to the intervention.
