Konverzia zámku, Arboretum Nový Dvůr u Opavy

Abstract

The subject of my thesis is to create documentation for rebuilding the mansion in complex Arboretum The Nový Dvůr in Opava. This documentation preceding urban study ( ATT III . ) , architectural study ( ATT IV . ) and documentation for building construction permit ( ATT Va . ), which became the basis for creating of this work . The building is situated in complex of the Arboretum Nový Dvůr , which is located in the historical english garden, which was built by the founder of the arboretum. The need for reconstruction was based on the change in use of the building , which conditioned in the change of layout. This need was caused by urban concept , which determined communicational and visual axis passing through a mansion and that’s why it make more attractive for visitors in complex. The basic concept , along with supporting communicational passing through axis and so on creating a "walkthrought mansion" , based on the vertical partition of the mansion into three levels of information that the visitor will get.
