Návrh měřící sondy pro technologii Sigfox

Abstract

The aim of this diploma thesis is to realize research in domain of LPWAN communication networks designed for Internet of Things and also design and implement mobile application for Android operation system, which measure the quality of coverage for Sigfox network. The quality of coverage finding is solved by wireless communication between mobile device and Sigfox module, which sends Sigfox message. When base station captures message, mobile application can determine qualitative parameters of radio signal. The developed solution mainly offers possibility to grafically display base stations on a map and it can show a list of all measurements. The results of this thesis offer the better orientation in domain of Internet of Things and also the description of individual LPWAN technologies. Mobile application should represent tool, which is intended especially for finding areas with poor or non-existent Sigfox network coverage and in this manner to help the possible improvements.
