Abstract

The thesis is focused on the verification of the lithological structure of the pilot site near Doubrava in sliding areas of Karviná. To the basic determination of geomorphology, geological structure and lithology of the area was used by literary sources available mainly in the library of VŠB-TUO. Specific information from the landslide monitoring was provided by K-Geo, Ltd. Additional data and map sheets are retrieved from internet sources. The main ones are: Czech Geological Survey and Map Applications of the Geoportal of the Czech Office of Surveying and Cadastre. For the documentation of the lithological profile of the area of interest, two different geoelectric survey methods were used in the field, namely GPR and ERT. For the correlation of the obtained geophysical profiles were used documentation from already built boreholes. The bachelor thesis discusses the contribution of selected geophysical measurements and the data thus obtained for assessing the stability of the area of interest. Emphasis is placed on the use of resistive tomography (ERT). GPR measurement was performed as a control and supplementary when interpreting data.
