Abstract
The aim of this paper is to describe the basic processes of purification of industrial waste water treatment plant in Trencin - right bank. The work is focused on the treatment of wastewater from different industries. It is complemented by the characteristics of machinery applying the cleaning and disposal of wastewater, sludge and removal technology. At work I briefly describe too inorganic and organic contaminants in industrial waste waters, mechanical and biological treatment, the removal of nitrogen and phosphorus, microbiological characteristics of activated sludge in terms of identifying the presence of micro-organisms causing triggering biological treatment to disposal of sludge generated.
