Abstract
This bachelor´s thesis deals with the evaluation of the changes in properties of 08Cr18Ni10Ti steel after model low-temperature ageing. In the theoretical part, stainless steels are described with a focus on austenitic stainless steels. Furthermore, the issue of low-temperature ageing was described.
The test samples were subjected to a model low-temperature ageing simulating material behaviour at temperatures below 350 °C. In the practical part, metallographic evaluation of the samples in the basic state and after low-temperature ageing was performed. To evaluate the properties, corrosion attack test, SEM analysis and hardness test were performed.
